Pre-Entry Visits

We welcome you and you child to school for the new entrance orientation visits. We find that three visits before children start school helps to settle them in the classroom.

We will endeavor to place children in the classroom of their new teacher. Visits are on Wednesday mornings commencing at 10.00am and finishing at 11:30am. As this period covers the morning interval it is essential that you remain with your child for the whole visit.

We ask at this time that you do not bring pre-schoolers with you.

Your child will have an opportunity to be involved in both the maths and language programmes. It will show them what they will experience at the time of starting school.

Children start school on the Monday after their birthday. Please come to the office on that Monday to collect the necessary forms before taking your child to start class.
