David Grant - (Chairperson) - As a day job, I lead a small team of customer insights analysts for the BNZ marketing department. I have three young children at the school. My daughter is in year 5, and I have two sons in years 4 and 1 respectively.I joined the board because I am passionate about my local community and see Stanhope Road School as integral to this. I would like this school to be a leader in the best teaching practices; ensuring that its students and their families leave with 1: a sense of belonging and connection with their community, 2: curiosity about the world around them and a desire to continue learning, 3: confidence to be the best they can be.

Dean Spittle - I am the father of 2 children who currently attend Stanhope Road School; I have children in year 4 and year 2. Since being co-opted to the board in 2011, I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the SRS Board of Trustees. We have many different cultures represented at SRS with many different ability levels. I am dedicated to ensuring that all students at SRS obtain a 21st century education, one that not only stretches them academically but also supports their interest in sport and cultural activities. Monday to Friday, I work for a small local company that sells & supports automation software for use within many diverse NZ Industries.
Jenny Joe - I run an import and wholesale business together with my husband. My 2 children aged 11 and 9 will both be in the senior school in 2016 (years 6 and 7). I have been a co-opted member of the Board of Trustees since May 2012 and elected on in 2013. I feel privileged to be a part of this Board that is committed to continuous improvement in the school. I am committed to assisting in providing oversight and support to the Principal, teachers and staff to ensure that we provide every child in our school with an excellent education in an environment where they are valued, taught to value others and given every opportunity to succeed. We as a school community have a lot of exciting opportunities open to us and I welcome the chance to be able to support the momentum that the Board has developed.
Pat Coverdale - Pat is the staff elected representative, this her second term elected to this position. Pat has taught at Stanhope Road for a number of years and is the lead teacher in management of our University of Auckland Student Practicum programme with the Masters of Teaching(Primary) programme we are partnered with.
Corinne Hansell (Principal) - I am thrilled to lead the school through its new phase of rebranding, and acknowledge the dedication of the past two principals, in their previous work to get the school to this exciting stage of development. My past experiences include being in the Ministry of Education as a Schooling Improvement Co-ordinator for seven years, and Principal of Tamaki Primary for nine years. Our whanau as a whole, is dedicated to the provision of a quality education for ALL students. My husband is Principal of the School of Secondary/Tertiary Studies (SSTS) at Manukau Institute of Technology, and our daughter is Deputy Principal of Hunua Primary . Our son is currently enjoying a professional rugby contract in France, and when we are on our breaks, we are either in sunny Samoa visiting our fanau, or watching Rugby in the French winter. We are always excitedly looking forward to the next time we may see our little French grandson - the light of our lives!
